Rae Rae came to visit!!

My old roommate and BFF came into town this weekend. I have not seen Raechel since 2002 after I left Japan. Her and I were two peas in a pod back in the day! The stories that we can tell...well lets just say we hope our children will never hear them. Well she was sent to school in Pensacola for a month, so we decided it was time for a little reunion. We went to Panama City for the day. And then we came back to Tallahassee and hung out catching up on old times. Since 2002, we have both gone on great adventures...getting married, having kids and gaining footing in our careers. It was great getting to see her again!!

2. I miss the military! I know its crazy, but once you get out you just don't realize how great it was. I miss the job, the friends, the travel..the whole thing! I joined the reserves to get a little taste of it once a month and I love it!

3. I love to scrapbook. I wish I had more time to accomplish it, because I am about two years behind on it, but I love creating something my daughter will look at in the future and show to her children.

4. My new years resolution is to better myself. My first step was to become a vegetarian. Its been almost a month and my body feels great without meat!

5. I love TV..I know its bad

6. I love cats!! My baby boy, Diego, is the sweetest cat in the world. He does get into trouble a lot, but he is a boy...LOL My big girl, Chloe, is not the sweetest cat, but sometimes she does let me pet her, but only on her terms. We have had her for almost 4 years..so she is part of the family.

Happy New Years

Happy 2009!!

So for New Year's it started out as a fun day. We took my brother and Alissa out for some putt putt, laser tag and jungle jim fun! We had a great time and I especially liked whopping Joel and Ryan on one-on-one laser tag!! Then we decided to hang out at the house, since Joel had to work all night, but we got a call of a party and we headed out. Alissa was pretty mad that only grown ups were allowed. We told her when she gets big she can party all she wants..I'm thinking we might have to take that back at some point..LOL. So we headed over to a friends mother's house. When we walked in the average age of the party was some where between 50 and 60, so we all headed outside for "shot time". At some point of the night we even got some of the "elders" out for "shot timeeee". Joel had to dip out early, so I had to ring in the new year a little early. But all in all it was a great time!
